Did you know we need multiple SAP licenses in order to start using SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning?

On SAC side a single user can consume more than one license type, however, some licenses include others:
· A Planning Professional license includes a Planning Standard license - allows developers to design planning solutions
· A Planning Standard license includes a Business Intelligence ‘named user’ license – allows planners to input plans in the input forms/stories
· Each user can consume only one of the Business Intelligence licenses: ‘named user’ or ‘concurrent session’ – allows users to run reports/stories
SAP BPC Runtime license is used in the hybrid scenario when SAC Planning is connected to SAP BPC Embedded:
· Applicable only to BPC Embedded model Live connections
· It is not available to BPC Standard models
· It can be used in SAC stories, SAC Analytic Designer applications and Analysis for Office, edition for SAC, workbooks
· With BPC Runtime License, users who only input via SAC Planning into BPC Embedded via Live connection will no longer require a BPC Standard or Professional license
